Klasifikasi Manual Berita Berbahasa Indonesia Menggunakan Teknik Support Vector Machine

This research proposed by the Indonesian news classification. This research uses the Support Vector Machine technique. Support Vector Machine Technique is technique to maximize the margin and transformasi input space of non linear to characteristic space use the kernel method. By using Support Vector Machine Technique will be done by the mapping of the practice given at one particular space distinguish the to have high dimension by placing a divisor able to dissociate the positive model with negative model in the space. Examination done by using sampel news of Kompas media. Result of classification experiment indicate that the Support Vector Machine Technique effective used for the classification of Indonesian news especially if big used training document (>50 document)
